Chapter Officers
Maddy Kratochvil
Chapter President
“During recruitment, all of the women I talked to were genuinely excited to get to know me for who I am. I instantly knew that the women I met were going to be the type of people I wanted to surround myself with. Every time I left the Alpha Xi room during recruitment I felt like I was at home and that I finally found my people. Personally, my involvement with Alpha Xi Delta provides me with time management skills which are critical to balancing family and work responsibilities after graduation. I figure if I can lead this chapter, attend chapter meetings, work part-time and keep my GPA up, I will be able to manage my post-college obligations. Being part of Alpha Xi Delta has pushed me to explore my boundaries and challenged me to be a leader. My first year as an Alpha Xi Delta, I was tasked with leading our chapters efforts in a variety of aspects as our Membership Vice President, Recruitment Events Director, Campus Relations Director, and Electronic Communications Director. This past semester I was eager to have a greater role in my chapter. I am honored to have been elected as our chapter President, and look forward to what this next year has in store!

“I chose Alpha Xi Delta because all of the girls made me feel like I was still a part of something special when I came to La Crosse, and all the girls are great and they are people who you will always have a great time with no matter where you are.”

I chose AXID because all the girls I talked to were so incredibly welcoming and genuine and I could tell they were the kind of people I wanted to get to know on a deeper level. I knew they would push me to do great things. The women of AXID inspired me and I knew I wanted to strive to be just like them by joining their amazing sisterhood.

During recruitment I felt how genuine and kind AXiD was. They were so welcoming and I could see myself thriving. I also felt a connection to the philanthropy and it was something I wanted to make an impact on. I love being a part of AXID and have seen myself grow so much since joining!
Anna Brinkmann
Communications Vice President
I joined Alpha Xi Delta to meet new people and experience a closer relationship others at the UW La Crosse. I wanted to get involved and join a fun family who would help me feel more at home. Since joining, I have learned that I can be a strong and independent person. Alpha Xi Delta has given me positions that I am not used to, and because of this I've had opportunities to try new things and become better in fields I might not be used to. Alpha Xi Delta has given me my life long friends and sisters who are always there for me!

I chose AXID because I wanted to be able to branch out in college and meet new people by finding a home away from home. That was AXID. I was able to meet new people and find my passion in sisterhood and our philanthropy.

Kendra Crotteau
Chapter Life Vice President
I chose AXID because I connected with their philanthropy the most. I was also struggling to find and make friends the first few months of college and AXID not only helped with that but gave me a sense of belonging. My best friends are in the sorority, they are my second family.

Lizzi Waldner
Philanthropy Vice President
I chose axid because I immediately had a connection with the girls in the recruitment room. I knew I could be myself and I didn’t have to be someone I thought they wanted me to be. I could talk about the deep stuff with them but also the fun stuff and all the things we want in life. I knew that I couldn’t imagine my life without them in it.
